Pete Richards joins Macquarie Graduate School of Management
Macquarie Graduate School of Management has appointed Pete Richards to head up its marketing department.

Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), Australia’s premier graduate management school, has appointed Pete Richards, to the role of Marketing Manager.
Mr. Richards brings over 20 years of experience in the marketing industry, most recently as McGrath Estate Agents Group Head of Marketing where he steered the company’s marketing efforts through a period of franchise expansion, building a suite of unique marketing strategies and offerings including podcasting and a mobile media channels.
Dean of MGSM, Professor Rob Widing, said the appointment of Mr. Richards only builds on the strength of MGSM’s existing team, and is the latest example of the high calibre staff the school is attracting.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and transferrable skills, acquired whilst working in two of the most saturated and competitive market sectors in Australia – property and recruitment. MGSM looks to his leadership to build our reputation within Australia and among the countries where MGSM recruits students.”
In his new role, Mr. Richards will oversee MGSM’s external communication including marketing and advertising strategies across the organisation and is tasked with building the school’s corporate reputation and brand awareness. MGSM is well positioned to capitalise on its existing status amongst businesses and consumers which Mr. Richards believes presents both diversity and opportunity for any marketing professional.

Before his role at McGrath Estate agents, Mr. Richards was previously employed as Marketing Services Manager at Australian recruitment company Chandler Macleod, following a number of high profile marketing roles at companies in Australia and the UK including the Slade Group, Westinghouse Electronics and the Chubb Security Group.
