TV ads will begin today and feature a number of pioneers in their field including solo world sailor Jessica Watson, former tennis star Martina Navratilova, Atari founder Nolan Bushnell and Dr Rebecca Lee, the first woman to visit the North Pole, South Pole and Everest.

The campaign, created by Whybin\TBWA, builds on the bank’s new tagline, Your World Your Way, with ANZ saying it is designed to promote empowerment and encourage people to follow their dreams.

ANZ chief executive global wealth Joyce Phillips said the ad is positioned to be more relevant to the bank’s global customer base.

“Our customers all have unique lives full of different experiences, opportunities and ambitions for the future – we’re here to help enable them to make those aspirations a reality,” she said.

“The campaign features a diverse range of people from all over the world. While not all are immediately recognisable, they each have an inspiring story about how they challenged the status quo to succeed in their field and make the world a better place.”

The campaign will also run across print and online.
