PodcastOne launches not-for-profit bushfire advice podcast

Southern Cross Austereo’s PodcastOne platform has released a not-for-profit bushfire advice podcast – Rebuilding Australia.

The announcement:

NOT-FOR-PROFIT BUSHFIRE ADVICE PODCAST, REBULDING AUSTRALIA, LAUNCHES ON PODCASTONE AUSTRALIA

PodcastOne Australia has launched a not-for-profit Podcast series, Rebuilding Australia, to provide helpful information to people on the key areas of rebuilding their life. Whilst Australians are consumed with the current COVID19 pandemic, we may have forgotten that Australia experienced one of the worst bushfire seasons in history and had to then deal with floods.

The podcasts focus on three different areas of information:

Rebuilding our animals and land

Rebuilding our homes and businesses

Rebuilding our mindset

To create the series, PodcastOne Australia has called upon well regarded experts in their fields to help provide trusted information and advice to those who have been or are affected from these challenging times, including agricultural scientist Chris Russell, financial journalist Ross Greenwood, and executive coach Margie Hartley.

Southern Cross Austereo CEO, Grant Blackley, said: “SCA is enormously proud to join the many companies that have given so much support to communities in their time of need and crisis. Throughout the devastating fires our national and local teams worked tirelessly to procure and distribute regular and updated information and guidance to people that may have been stranded or in search of vital information.

“Today, our teams are at it again – delivering over 400 news updates each day to every corner of Australia. We are proudly national and fiercely local and that epitomises our strategy throughout our people and operations.

“Our PodcastOne team believed they had a meaningful and substantial contribution to also make and the Rebuilding Australia podcast series is relevant to those who have suffered and those facing anxiety, concern and hardship today. We are immensely proud of all our teams in every office.”
