Pop goes SMH’s news judgement
Hard to know where to start with smh.com.au’s current online coverage of the Texas plane attack.
Perhaps it’s the caption to the video of the building burning:
The website informs us it doesn’t appear to be crime or terrorism. Which does appear to be slightly contradicted by the story, which suggests it was deliberately flown into the building by an angry tax payer.
However, that pales next to what happens when the video has finished playing. After the viewer watches the building burning, what appears next on screen is the cheery word “POP!”
As that’s a house ad presumably designed to run next to news videos you’d have though someone would have seen that one coming. Or perhaps not.
And then for no apparent reason the building will suddenly implode on itself. The Feds will say the extreme heat of the planes flash fuel burn disintergrated the steel girders that are 2 feet thick. the building will have all the beems and concrete taken away immediatley and destroyed by a Government contractor who happend to be waiting across the road prior to the plane hit, like the HAZMAT and fire brigade was waiting when this plane hit the building.

He was no doubt linked to Afghanistan Rock group, and we will now have to raid, ummmm, NZ is nice this time of year. And they have resources. sheep are nice resources. but as Larry Silverstien says, pull the building. He and Frank Lowy can now make a ton of money on the insurance claim, 6 months after they signed the lease.

Please dont tell me Silverstien and Lowy just leased this building also and upped the insurance last week by 2Billion against a terrorist attack, just in case.
