Powerade highlights how soccer has evolved to announce partnership with FIFA World Cup
To announce its partnership with the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Powerade has launched a new television campaign to highlight how both soccer and Powerade has evolved.
Created by Ogilvy Sydney, the commercial features footage of old soccer uniforms, skills and ways of training to show the ways in which soccer has progressed.
The ad aims to promote the ways in which Powerade, just like the sport of soccer, has evolved too.
Andrew Tilley, brand manager of Powerade, said in a statement: “Partnering with one of the biggest sporting events in the world, the 2018 FIFA World Cup, is a hugely exciting move for Powerade.
“The FIFA World Cup is a truly global consumption occasion and a huge driver of incremental sales. We look forward to announcing more details of the partnership soon.”
