PPR’s national director of investor relations, David Tasker set to depart

PPR’s national director of investor relations David Tasker, has announced his departure from the company.

Tasker joined PPR in 2004 and has been responsible for its investor relations division which includes the oversight of 20 staff members across Australia.

Tasker has worked at PPR for over 13 years

In a post on LinkedIn he said: “After +13 years at PPR I have decided to move on. I leave at the end of July and plan to hit the finish line at speed as I still have things I want to achieve for my clients, colleagues and PPR before I leave.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at PPR and leave with only good memories. I am also happy that clients are in great hands and that plans for PPR (nationally and locally) are strong.

“What my next move is, I can honestly say I am not 100% sure…but one thing I will do is continue to pursue content and publishing, which I am passionate about, and will continue to actively work on TechInvest and The Pick (and associated websites) going forward. Other than that, I am looking forward to some time out with my family and will see what opportunities present themselves.”

PPR CEO, Katrina Brangwin, said Tasker has set a high benchmark for the investor public relations offering at PPR, which will remain as part of the agency’s services.

A replacement for David is yet to be announced.
