Palliative Care Victoria has appointed Flourish to its public relations account

Odette Waanders, CEO of Palliative Care Victoria, said the appointment came about after it worked with Flourish on the Moments that Matter campaign.

“We engaged Flourish earlier this year to help drive the public relations and social media management for our Moments That Matter campaign, which is a series of personal and honest accounts of real experiences of palliative care, with the aim of educating Australians and helping them gain a deeper understanding of what palliative care is,” Waanders said.

“We are pleased to cement our partnership with Flourish on an ongoing basis to help continue the momentum, educate Australians and spread the word on the benefits of palliative care.”

Flourish has also retained the account for the The Wellness Walk and Research Run which raises money for the Olivia Newton John Cancer Centre. It is the eighth year in a row the agency has worked for the event.

Also, joining Flourish’s client list is adds Irabina Autism Services. The agency will be responsible for raising brand awareness and raising the company’s reputation ahead of its 50-year anniversary in 2020.

Angela Ceberano, founder and managing director of Flourish, said: “As a team, we are passionate about working in the health space so we’re extremely proud to partner with three amazing organisations that are doing great things in their fields.”
