PR agency KDPO announces new hospitality clients

Karla Dawes Press Office (KDPO) – a PR agency based in Melbourne – has garnered several clients in the hospitality industry.

Melbourne based public relations agency, Karla Dawes Press Office (KDPO) has announced key client wins in the hospitality and food and beverage space including iconic coffee roasters ST. ALi, cult bakery Baker Bleu, as well as expanding its remit for restaurateur Chris Lucas’ stable of venues.

Since opening in 2016, KDPO has become one of Australia’s premier food and beverage communications specialists with a reputation as an industry leader in this category with Stokehouse, Pidapipo Gelateria, Johnny’s Green Room, Delia Group (Maha, Maha North, Maha East and Jayda), Maker & Monger, Ruben’s Deli and Melbourne Greek institution Stalactites in its current client portfolio.

KDPO has worked with Lucas Restaurants, Chris Lucas’ stable of restaurants across the eight years of the agency and will continue to do so in 2024 including venues Grill Americano, Kisume, Society, Lillian Brasserie, Chin Chin (Melbourne and Sydney), Yakimono, Baby Pizza and Hawker Hall, and in addition will launch Lucas’ new openings across the new year, including Club Chin Chin, a one-year pop-up within Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium in late April, a Chapel Street location in June and the eagerly awaited Batard located in the Paris End of Bourke Street, in the second half of this year, as well as interstate locations to be announced.

ST. ALi have no doubtedly shaped Australian café culture and specialty coffee since 2005 and now have cafes and restaurants in locations across Australia and overseas as well as a wide range of coffee products available in retail and wholesale/restaurants. ST ALi have engaged KDPO across all of its brand pillars including a new venue within FURTHER HOTEL in Bali in April.

KDPO has also signed on iconic bakery Baker Bleu for its Easter campaign which has stores in Caulfield South, and Hawksburn Village in VIC, and Double Bay in NSW, as well as world-class Starward Whisky for its new distillery in Port Melbourne.

These new client wins, as well as the continued work we do with our longstanding clients is a testament to the meaningful results we consistently achieve,” says Karla.

KDPO also recently welcomed Kaleida Hospitality which has YAWYE smoothie bar, Otherside Coffee and The Bagel Shop; Nove Hospitallty which has opened Lucia in South Melbourne – a Mediterranean restaurant and wine bar which promises to redefine the traditional European dining experience – in addition to their suburban gems Riserva (Malvern East), Baia Di Vino (Sandringham) and San Lorenzo (Scoresby); Circl, a new wine-centric restaurant that will invite patrons to explore and participate in the world of wine from its CBD location at 22 Punch Lane; and Wally’s Albert Park, a new wine bar for Albert Park Village.
