PR agency Verve Communications wins four new accounts

Verve Communications has won four new accounts including Automobili Lamborghini, The King’s School, Scalabrini Village and StartUp Australia.

The announcement:

It’s been a big quarter for Verve Communications, which has secured Automobili Lamborghini, The King’s School, Scalabrini Village and StartUp Australia as new clients and appointed strategic communications and media engagement specialist, Luke Starr as the firm’s first general manager.

Verve has been appointed as the Australian public relations representative for Automobili Lamborghini, responsible for promoting the super sports car brand and its products in this market through media engagement, partnership marketing and dealer support.  It is a very different brief to that of not-for-profit entrepreneurial movement StartUp Australia, for which Verve will provide sponsorship activation, media and government relations and launch development services.

Verve has also won a competitive pitch to deliver stakeholder, community and media engagement and social media management for Scalabrini Village aged care facilities and services, in addition to securing a general public relations brief from independent education institution, The King’s School.

The wins are in addition to Verve’s appointment of respected PR professional, Luke Starr, to the newly-formed role of Verve general manager. With more than 15 years of experience under his belt, Luke has managed the media profiles and reputations of organisations across the corporate sector, property, IT, travel, lifestyle and government.

In his role as Verve general manager, Luke now leads the agency’s day-to-day business operations and its eight-strong team of PR consultants, while providing direction across Verve’s gamut of lifestyle, corporate and government clients which include Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Tourism Fiji, IMB Building Society, The Foodco Group, Amber Tiles and Sydney Olympic Park Authority.

Verve co-founder and director, Prue MacSween said: “I’ve been in the media industry for decades now and Luke Starr is truly one of the best operators I’ve ever encountered.

“He is a natural-born leader with the skills and expertise to not only develop Verve’s business but also the proficiency of our staff and of course, the prosperity of our clients. It’s an exciting time for Verve and with Luke on-board, Verve is undoubtedly a cut above the competition.

“Since Luke joined us, we’ve been able to demonstrate our expanded capabilities to a raft of new clients who have recognised our ability to add value to their businesses and brands.  We’re delighted to be chosen as their business partners and look forward to delivering exciting campaigns on their behalf,” Prue said.
