Principals selected by LaunchVic to deliver a brand strategy and visual identity

Principals has been appointed by the Victorian Government’s LaunchVic to deliver a new brand strategy, naming and visual identity.

LaunchVic is a government funded independent agency tasked with growing the state’s ‘startup ecosystem’ and with the goal of establishing Victoria as a startup hub.

Principals has been tasked with developing a brand strategy for LaunchVic

LaunchVic CEO, Kate Cornick, said Principals will work with its members on the brand.

“LaunchVic is thrilled to appoint Principals to facilitate the development of a brand for the Victorian Startup Ecosystem,” Cornick said.

“The ecosystem is experiencing significant growth and a compelling brand will underpin our ability to effectively promote it on national and international stages well into the future.

“Principals will be consulting with our community to design a brand that provides stakeholders with a united understanding of the Victorian Startup Ecosystem’s strengths, unique value propositions and cultural values.”

Principals CEO, Tom Brigstocke, added: “We relish the opportunity to join forces with LaunchVic to articulate a brand that positions Victoria as a destination for business growth and innovation, as well as talent.”

The appointment follows recent work Principals has completed for the Bondi to Manly walk in Sydney and the Campbelltown City Council .

In December, the agency announced it was launching an experience design arm, named Alpha Lab, which will be led by Dan Bradley.
