Bollaci: charged with leading growth for Innovid.

Video advertising platform Innovid has poached Sizmek’s APAC boss Carolyn Bollaci to head its own Asia-Pacific operations, Mumbrella can reveal.

The move comes as programmatic company SpotX announced it has hired a new boss for Asia in Marcus Tan, replacing APAC MD Matt Von der Muhll and commercial director Sujen Selva, who have moved on to new roles.

Bollaci has previously held sales director roles at NineMSN and News Digital Media, but has been with Sizmek for the last seven years as regional vice president.

“Carolyn will be joining as head of APAC for Innovid from March 1,” said Adam Natiq ‎Country Manager ANZ at Innovid. “Growth is a focus but it will be the leadership vision that she brings for our business.

“We have a lot of momentum and growth and we need that new leadership to help guide us through the year.”

Joining SpotX: Tan

In an announcement SpotX touted the appointment of Tan, who has been in the industry for 20 years and comes on board after a 10-month stint at Pubmatic, where he was APAC head of high growth solutions.

“This time next year, we won’t just have Australia and New Zealand office [in APAC]. We will have a bigger Singapore office, we’ll have feet on the ground in other parts of Asia,” said Tan.

Tan was previously with Pubmatic and before that Asia director for BBM Channels, BlackBerry’s mobile social media platform.
