Project PR picks up Jenny Craig duties

Slimming brand Jenny Craig has appointed a new PR agency, naming Project PR its agency of record.

Project PR is thrilled to announce it has been appointed the retainer PR agency for Jenny Craig.

The Prahran based agency will manage the account from July 20 and activity will include a comprehensive local PR program as well as all national media responsibilities and experiential initiatives.

“Project PR was chosen because of its clever, strategic approach to raising awareness for the Jenny Craig brand. The team is professional and their media contacts are second to none. They are also leaders in the health and well being space,” said Stephanie Malkin, Jenny Craig Marketing Manager.

Project PR is directed by Alicia Hall and Lainie Coombes. The unique combination of Alicia’s 10 years of TV reporting at Channel 7 and Lainie’s decade long PR experience has seen the business flourish over the past three years.

Jenny Craig joins Project PR’s stable of global brands. The agency continues to represent VARIDESK, the world’s leading standing desk brand, based in the US.

After a competitive pitch Project PR is also announcing it will manage Smiling Mind’s annual awareness campaign in October.

Smiling Mind is a unique web and App-based program developed by a team of psychologists with expertise in youth and adolescent therapy, Mindfulness Meditation and web-based wellness programs. Its board member’s include Jane Martino, James Tutton and Jim Watts.

Project PR continues to represent Australia’s leading environmentally friendly cleaning brand, ENJO, homewares and arts and crafts supply store, Spotlight, The Royce Hotel and CBC St Kilda.
