Pusher creates online staring game for CC’s Corn Chips

Digital agency Pusher has created an online game for CC’s Corn Chips involving a staring competition.

Contestants are asked to activate their webcam and align their eyes with a guide on the screen where eye-detection and motion sensing software are then activated to capture the contestant’s eye movements.

The aim of the game is to stare continuously at the girl featured on the screen and not look at the “distractions” surrounding her which include licking a CC’s Corn Chip.

Mike Crebar, Pusher digital strategy director said: “The CC’s Stare Challenge tells us when players of the game break their stare and look away. When they do it’s because they have looked away at the product while already engaging and playing the CC’s game.”

The activity is a follow-up to the TV ads launched in late July.

The game features on the CC’s Facebook page and website.
