Queensland Government celebrates local stores in Office of Small Business campaign

The Queensland Government is encouraging residents to shop locally to promote the state’s economy in a campaign promoting its Office of Small Business.

Created by Engine, the ad starts with a woman walking into a bakery as the street begins to transform with more local stores appearing including a butcher, boutique, fruit and hardware store.

Tim Weger, managing director of Engine, said in a statement: “We want to encourage consumers to purchase thoughtfully and consider the impact they can have on their own local community.

“We also want to encourage the 414,000 small businesses in Queensland to leverage the tools available through the Office of Small Business.”
