Queensland Strawberries appoints Magnum & Co to its public relations account

Communications agency Magnum & Co has won the public relations account for Queensland Strawberries.

The agency’s remit will include Queensland Strawberries’ social media, digital and earned media accounts as well as its influencer program, focusing on the peak winter season from June to October.

Queensland Strawberries represents 100 growers across Queensland and is Australia’s largest growing region for fresh strawberries.

Managing director of Magnum & Co, Carl Moggridge, said: “We’re passionate about using culture to help clients do things that change things, so we’re excited to be working with Queensland Strawberries who are committed to doing exactly that, especially after a tough couple of years for the industry.

“Our agency has deep experience helping horticulture in Australia having worked on Australian Blueberries and Australian Mangoes for a number of years with great success, so this win is testament to the team’s hard work.”

Horticulture marketing consultant, Jane Richter, added: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Magnum & Co. As we head into the cooler months and strawberries come into season here in Australia, I’m confident the Magnum team will do a fantastic job at raising awareness of not only the local season but our wonderful growers too.”

In April, Magnum & Co won the influencer account for its consumer products division, which includes brands Garnier, L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York and Essie.
