Quiip appoints general manager

Quiip, an online community management and moderation business, has appointed Julie Delaforce as general manager and added Next Byte and digital agency Holler to its client portfolio.

The announcement:

In a period of rapid growth, Quiip, Australia’s leading online community management and moderation business, announces two new business wins and the appointment of Julie Delaforce to General Manager.

Leading up to its fourth birthday, Quiip adds Next Byte, the largest and most awarded Apple Premium Reseller within Australia, and leading digital agency Holler to its client portfolio.

As a result of these new business wins and in its commitment to evolving the business, Julie Delaforce has been promoted to General Manager. Getting an early start as a social media and online community practitioner, Julie has eight years experience in the digital space with over three years working at Quiip.

Having worked across a range of sectors including entertainment, government, health, NFP, FMCG and finance with high-profile clients including Network Ten, the Australian Government (The Line), Westpac, Diageo and Nestlé, Julie has insights from being on both agency and client side. Passionate about working with risk-averse organisations, Julie possesses extensive experience in communications, content, community and analytics.

“We are thrilled to be working with Next Byte and Holler and it is with great pride that I welcome Julie to the position of General Manager. Particularly Julie’s wealth of digital and corporate communications experience in the highly regulated financial sector is a great fit for the high risk environments that Quiip often operates in due to the nature of many of our clients. It is an exciting time for our business,” said Alison Michalk, CEO Quiip.

Quiip has also recently been working with Beamly (formerly Zeebox) and DDB.
