RACT Insurance appoints indie media agency Pivotus

The insurance offering of the Royal Automotive Club of Tasmania – RACT Insurance – has appointed independent media agency Pivotus, adding to the agency’s Tasmanian presence.

OMD will retain the business’ offline media strategy and buying activity, while Pivotus will handle digital advertising strategy and online media buying.

Last month, Pivotus hired Lam Le to grow the agency’s Tasmanian client roster, after it won the University of Tasmania business the month before. The brand’s marketing and product manager, Susanne Schantz, explained that this local focus pushed Pivotus over the line.

“Pivotus is well known to us, as they’ve worked with our sister organisation RACT for several successful years, but it is the agency’s passion and commitment to Tasmania that makes them stand out,” she said.

“Pivotus’s enthusiasm for our business and achieving results is a winning formula and we look forward to working with the team.”

Le and Audrey Fitte-Umark will partner to lead the RACT Insurance and University of Tasmania accounts.

“Pivotus has a proven commitment to the Tasmanian market and we offer value in augmenting the RACT Insurance marketing team in both digital advertising strategy and implementation,” added Pivotus’ CEO, Michael Petersen.

“We will soon be looking for additional qualified staff in the Tasmanian market as we continue to be referred to more brands looking to pivot to a reality where they are supported and empowered to grow their digital presence and businesses.”
