Radio ratings: Kyle and Jackie push KIIS to victory in Sydney
While Kyle and Jackie O have had a shocking start in Melbourne, they have managed to score their 45th survey win in a row as Sydney’s top FM breakfast show.
SYDNEY
Their station, KIIS1065, has also taken the top FM station from smoothFM, with a commanding 1.6 point lead, after slipping 0.1 points behind the easy-listening station last survey.
2GB continues to rule Sydney, while Ben Fordham sits 1.3 points ahead of Kyle and Jackie in overall Breakfast. Their closest breakfast rivals are smoothfm and ABC – both with 7.9%, compared to Fordham’s 15.6 and Kyle and Jackie’s 14.3
In Drive, Will and Woody on KIIS are 1.8 points clear of smoothfm’s Byron Webb in FM, with Chris O’Keefe on 2GB claiming 7.8% of the market.
MELBOURNE
Nova’s Jase and Lauren have taken the top spot in Melbourne’s fiercely contested Breakfast radio wars, with Kyle and Jackie O’s new show on their former broadcaster KIIS 101.1, nowhere to be seen. READ MORE
BRISBANE
NOVA is chasing, but B105 remains Brisbane’s top station, with a 2 point lead on 106.9, while MMM drops 1.8 points to slide into third place.
PERTH
NOVA93.7 remains top station in Perth for a second survey in a row, with NOVA’s Nathan, Nat & Shaun hosting the country’s most successful Breakfast show, in terms of market percentage, with an impressive 17.6 points.
ADELAIDE
As mentioned last survey, Adelaide is a rock and roll city, which means Triple M is number one, clear of its nearest rival MIX by a percentage point, dominating breakfast, mornings, afternoons, and drive across the city.

It’s good to see Kyle and Jacki O still smashing it in Sydney, seems like Melbourne are punishing them for Kiss FM for sacking Jason and Lauren and all listening to them more so now than they did before, don’t mess with Melbourne listeners, Kiss should have gone to Brisbane and not worried about the already tight Melbourne race.
I noticed there was a mistake in your Sydney wrap Nathan, the closest station (second place in FM) is WS FM with Jonesy and Amanda, the always forgotten number 2 FM station
