The Sydney Swans and QBE Insurance take over Sydney in new OOH campaign
The Sydney Swans, and QBE Insurance are celebrating their partnership of near four decades through an out-of-home (OOH) campaign, via The Core Agency.
The platform leverages OOH visuals, particularly a hero work that sees Sydney Swans player, Isaac Heeney, sporting QBE’s branding as he celebrates on the Sydney Cricket Ground. Meanwhile, the campaign can be seen wrapped around Sydney’s trams and inside them as maps chronicling the Sydney Swans’ journey to this year’s finals.
Overall, the campaign was designed to evoke the resilience and sense of community the AFL team has with QBE – especially as both entities have contributed to uplifting grassroots and local sporting initiatives.
At the same time, QBE and the Sydney Swans are also inviting Sydneysiders to celebrate the Swans’ journey by attending the game or the QBE Swans Hub which will provide attendees “with a chance to win great prizes”.
“This campaign is about more than just celebrating a successful season; it’s about honouring the resilience and passion that the Swans and their fans have shown over the years,” said QBE Australia Pacific’s general manager of marketing, David Hirsch.
“We’re proud to have been part of this journey and look forward to what’s next.”
