The second episode of the new series of Seven’s Packed to the Rafters grew in audience compared to last week’s debut episode of the season.
Tuesday’s episode took 1.48m – around 37,000 more than last week – which took 1.44m.
The show was second over all, and across the key demos, 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54. It peaked at 1.77m.
My Kitchen Rules, also on Seven at 7:30pm, was on top of last night’s shows with a strong showing of 1.68m and a peak of 2.25m. It won all key demos except for the 55+ category.

For Nine, new comedy 2 Broke Girls, which aired at 8pm against My Kitchen Rules, rated 10th in total viewers with an audience of 816,000, down on last week’s debut of 984,000.
The show was third across the demos 16-39, 18-49, 25-54, rating 313,000, 467,000 and 480,000 respectively.
It was the best performer in Nine’s prime time comedy line-up that included back to back episodes of The Big Bang Theory from 7pm in 11 and 12 spot, and Two and a Half Men in 13 and 14 which went out at 8:30pm against Packed to the Rafters.
Elsewhere, NCIS at 8:30pm was Ten’s best performer of the night placing ninth in total viewers with 847,000.
The show was also ninth in Ten’s target demo of 16-39, while Biggest Loser, which was 16 in total viewers, jumped to sixth place in the 16-39 demo.
ABC News was the public service broadcaster’s best performer, placing 7th in total viewers – but first place for viewers 55+.
A repeat of Who Do You Think You Are? was SBS’s number one show for total viewers placing 28th over all.
