Ratings Game: Guess the ratings for State of Origin and win a Mumbrella Sports Marketing Summit pass
Every morning the news team at Mumbrella plays the ratings game – where we guess how many viewers tuned in to watch a particular show.
And it’s that time of year again when Dr Mumbo opens it up to you to guess the ratings for one of the biggest TV events of the year, the opening game of the State of Origin series which kicks off in Brisbane just after 8pm tonight.
The rules are simple: the closest correct guess for the finalised, time-adjusted, average capital city audience for the telecast on Nine, wins.

Who won then?
Hi all,
Thanks very much for taking part, much appreciated.
While it was a belter of a match the tele audience didn’t match up to last year’s, with 2.348m the official number for the game.
There were half a dozen entries here that came close, but the winner is Ian Rawson, who guessed 2.345m – just 30,000 (or a rounding error in OzTam terms) out.
So congrats to you Ian, see you at the Summit on June 21!
Cheers,
Alex – Mumbrella
Nice competition! Lucky Ian, that’ll be awesome!
