REA Group’s flatmates.com.au launches summer campaign
Flatmates.com.au – REA Group’s share accommodation website – has launched a summer campaign encouraging Aussies to ‘Find Your People’.
Coinciding with the platform’s busiest time of year, the new campaign showcases the unexpected moments and benefits of share house living.
It features TikTok influencers and content creators Granny Flat Comedy, Grace & Matt, and Bec Cvilikas, who reflect on each of their experiences from living with flatmates – such as meeting a ‘future bestie’, making some extra cash, sharing the load, celebrating big and small moments, or establishing share house traditions.
It also includes a series of ads produced by REA’s content team, in collaboration with visual production agency Visual Domain, along with a case study featuring five people turned friends who met on the platform.
“Our recent research revealed one in five respondents opted for shared living for the companionship it offers,” said REA Group’s general manager of audience and marketing, Sarah Myers.
“Our campaign positioning aims to capture the essence of this lifestyle benefit – highlighting the feel-good stories of sharers and driving consideration and awareness of Flatmates.
“Despite challenges in the rental market, it’s not all doom and gloom, and the new campaign homes in on the lifestyle perks and friendships that share accommodation provides. The campaign heroes that Flatmates means more room for connection and celebrating the everyday.”
The campaign is live until the end of February across TikTok, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
