i don’t understand why ‘interesting’ captions are relevant to selling the deal
the consumer needs to quickly understand what they’re getting, without the need to think and as Ro said, the ‘action’ is intended to reinforce that you’re getting a lot for your money

Not sure the caption is really something that matters too much to the viewer? Or could even be seen that clearly from the tv. I only noticed because it was pointed out in the article.

So you want them to place content in the background of their ads that opens them up to attack – leaving a client constantly having to fight off complaints from the public on how dare they be so stupid. Ro, Sven and Sarah. I’m with you. No sub editoror needed on this TVC.
