Real Living to allow readers to design their own cover
ACP’s home magazine Real Living is to offer its readers a personalised cover to its Christmas edition.
The promotion – which ACP is claiming as an Australian publishing first – is being offered to 10,000 readers.
The venture also involves ACP’s sister company nineMSN, sponsor Microsoft, direct agency Wunderman and media agency Universal McCann.
Readers visit the Real Living website to upload their photos and coverlines.
The Christmas issue of Real Living will feature a DPS showcasing several custom covers aimed at demonstrating what Microsoft Office 2010 can do.
Phil Scott, ACP’s group publishing director, said: “This Australian publishing first is a credit to the dynamic editorial and sales team at Real Living.”
Microsoft’s Joanna Stevens Kramer said: “This promotion gives Microsoft true engagement with the Real Living audience.”
I can’t wait to see how they print the 72dpi, low-resolution RGB images that have been shot on a mobile phone… hehehe!
