Rebecca Carson appointed Vision Personal Training’s marketing boss

Former FMCG marketer Rebecca Carson has joined Vision Personal Training as head of marketing, a newly created role at the company.

Carson spent almost 15 years at Campbell Arnotts in various marketing and brand director roles, before joining Freedom Foods as general manager marketing and commercial in 2013.

After almost two years with the company she left Freedom Foods to create Carson Creative, and worked as director of the strategic marketing consultancy.

Carson said she is looking forward to building the brand profile for Vision.

“I’ve always been passionate about health and fitness and I am thrilled to join Vision Personal Training and work with leaders in this space,” Carson said.

“In an industry which is often overly superficial, Vision is a unique authentic voice made up of trainers who really strive to change their clients’ lives.”

Vision Personal Training CEO Andrew Simmons said Carson was an “invaluable asset to the team.”

“Our business is founded on transforming people’s lives through education, motivation and inspiration and I’m delighted to welcome Rebecca on board to help further support us in this mission,” Simmons said.

It comes three months after the company appointed Filtered Media to handle its public relations account.
