Rebecca Ludbrook departs Tabcorp to take up REA Group senior corporate comms role

Tabcorp’s corporate communications manager, Rebecca Ludbrook, has left the company after almost 10 years to join REA Group as senior corporate affairs manager.

Friday was Ludbrook’s last day at Tabcorp, and she began the new role on Monday, which sees her work across REA Group brands like realestate.com.au and flatmates.com.au.

“I leave [Tabcorp] after a huge amount of professional and personal growth, many amazing opportunities, much laughter and masses of fun,” Ludbrook said in an email announcing her departure.

“Although I’m sad to be leaving the industry in a professional capacity, I’m sure I’ll see many of you at a racetrack in the near future.”

Ludbrook joined Tabcorp in April 2010 as account customer and stakeholder relations coordinator, before becoming a corporate affairs advisor in 2012. In November 2016, she was promoted to corporate communications manager.

“REA Group is delighted to welcome Rebecca Ludbrook to its corporate affairs team as senior corporate affairs manager,” an REA Group spokesperson said.

“Rebecca joins the team from Tabcorp and will be responsible for driving external communications and media relations programs to support key business priorities.  Rebecca will be based in Melbourne and report to Prue Deniz, executive manager of corporate affairs.”
