Recruitment site Indeed appoints Fiona Portet as head of communications for ANZ
Recruitment site Indeed.com has appointed Fiona Portet as head of communications for Australia and New Zealand.
Portet: Will lead local PR for Indeed
Portet took the newly created role after previously helping the brand manage it public relations through her Melbourne consultancy Portet Partners.
She returned to Australia just over a year ago after working for recruiters Taylor Bennett Heyman in London and Singapore.
Indeed.com launched its Australian arm in 2013 and began a marketing drive the following year.
Portet told Mumbrella: “One of the reasons I joined the company is it has incredibly ambitious goals and is growing incredibly fast. As a PR team one of our ambitions is to lead the global market conversation, and part of my role in Australia is to look at how we can use all the data and all the insights that Indeed has and share the brand awareness in Australia”.
Indeed currently covers 60 countries with over 200 million visitors per month. The dominant local recruitment player in Australia is Seek.
