Red Agency appoints Amaury Tréguer as Australian executive director of social

Former head of social and content at The Haus, Amaury Tréguer, has been appointed by the Red Agency as the executive director of social in Australia.

In his new role he will be reporting to newly appointed CEO of the Red Agency Australia, Sarah Trombetta, and working towards growing the agency’s digital and social operations.

Tréguer joins the Red Agency as the Australian executive director of social

Prior to his appointment, Tréguer spent two-and-a-half years as the head of social and content at The Haus, and nearly four years as a senior strategist at We Are Social. He has worked with brands including Netflix, Sony, Nivea, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Tréguer said in a statement: “It’s an exciting time to join the Red Agency team and further develop our ambition to put social thinking at the heart of everything that we do for our clients. We’ve got some ambitious plans and a team led by industry experts across consumer lifestyle, corporate, technology, healthcare and travel that is committed to delivering consistently great work for our clients. There are a lot of possibilities we’ll be exploring in the coming months so watch this space.”

Tréguer replaces Davitha Ghiassi, who is joining the Havas Group’s US management team, heading up its social, content and integrated marketing operations.

Australian CEO Trombetta said Amaury would be an integral part of advancing Red Agency’s “innovation agenda”.

“Amaury’s wealth of expertise in shaping successful integrated marketing strategies and building dynamic teams, makes him uniquely qualified to build on our growth momentum and keep elevating our social capabilities to ensure our clients stay ahead of the market,” she said.

“As Amaury joins, I’d like to thank Davitha for the impact she has made in developing a strong portfolio over the past three years and wish her every success in the US.”
