Red Agency expands senior team, appoints new head of social

Red Agency has appointed Reborn social media strategist and team lead Davitha Ghiassi as its new head of social to lead the agency’s social offering #RedSocial as part of a shake-up to its senior leadership team.

Ghiassi joins the PR agency from two years at Reborn. At Red she will drive the agency’s strategic social media offering with a remit of covering both existing clients and new business.

Red Agency managing director, James Wright, said: “Dav brings outstanding and proven digital skills into the agency. Her digital smarts and insights, not to mention her unique style, will complement our growing volume of digitally-focused work. The agency has also appointed WE Buchan’s Anna Denby as head of technology practice in Sydney.

Denby joins the agency after two years with WE Buchan and will be charged with further building the agency’s technology portfolio.

Alongside the two new appointments, Red Agency has promoted associate director Grant Richmond-Coggan to client services director in Sydney, and account director Adam Freedman to the role of head of consumer practice in Sydney.
