oOh! Media will use its digital panels to remind the public to observe Remembrance Day’s one minute silence later today

The initiative, organised in conjunction with RSL charity DefenceCare will see more than 1,300 digital advertising panels in airports, shopping centres, pubs, cafes and roadsides display a poppy for a minute at 11am today.

They will display a countdown 10 seconds prior to the minute’s silence.

The project was developed by content agency 3rdSpace.

The campaign also encourages Australians to visit the Minute to Remember Facebook page, which allows visitors to register for a SMS reminder to switch off their phone at 11am and the opportunity to buy a virtual fundraising poppy to display on their Facebook page.
