Rogue Traders and Sony to shoot music video in 3D

Rogue Traders, MumbrellaAustralian electro-pop group the Rogue Traders will film the music video for its latest single in 3D, with the song to become the Socceroos’ anthem for the FIFA World Cup.  

The band, which is signed with Sony Music Entertainment, will be the first in Australia to use Sony technology to shoot the video for the song Hearts Beat as One in 3D which will also feature the Socceroos.

Denis Handlin, Sony Music Entertainment Australia and New Zealand chairman and CEO: “3D offers a huge opportunity for the Australian music industry and will be a whole new way to get up close to your favourite acts and artists, just like being at a gig.”

Hearts Beat as One will be available to download from May 24, while the 3D video will premiere in early June.

It comes as Sony readies a major marketing campaign to promote its 3D products. Activity will include TV advertising, consumer promotions and in-store collateral.
