The announcement:

Rampaging Roy Slaven & HG Nelson are set to once again call Rugby League live.

The sporting legends will call the first game of the Four Nations tournament on the Triple M network when Australia play Papua New Guinea at Parramatta Stadium on Sunday, October 24.

The return of Roy & HG to perform a live call was made possible when Triple M gained the radio rights to broadcast the Four Nations. As an added bonus, the duo will be broadcasting their call as Channel Nine also broadcast the game live.

Roy and HG are a perfect fit for the Australia v PNG game as they have long championed the reggae Rugby League style of football played by the Kumuls. Rampaging Roy Slaven is also the Australian Ambassador for the Kumuls.

Roy & HG’s broadcast will begin with a pre-game show on Triple M at 3.30pm, Sunday, October 24, with the live call beginning at 4pm with pictures live on Channel Nine.
