Rubicon Project recruits Chris Waterman

Rubicon Project has recruited Chris Waterman as sales director, Seller Cloud, Asia Pacific.

The announcement:

Rubicon Project, which operates tone of the industry’s largest independent real-time trading platform for digital advertising, has recruited Chris Waterman as Sales Director – Seller Cloud, Asia Pacific. Based in Sydney, Waterman will work closely with publishers and applications across the APAC region to help them improve efficiencies in their digital media and optimize yields via advertising automation.

Joining from Fairfax Media, where he began as Campaign Manager and most recently worked as a Platforms Specialist, Waterman’s range of advertising industry expertise spans digital media, programmatic trading, performance marketing and data driven advertising.

Rubicon Project’s real time trading technology enables the buying and selling of premium inventory from more than 500 of the world’s premium publishers through an automated advertising platform.  Driven by innovation, the company has engineered one of the largest real-time cloud and Big Data computing systems, processing trillions of transactions each month within milliseconds.
