Ruff competition! The Dog House wins entertainment; Nine takes Thursday
Dog House on Ten won entertainment on Thursday, however, it was Nine which celebrated an overall network share win.
The episode aired to 512,000 people in all five major capital cities, and #1 entertainment show in the 25 to 54s.
Next in entertainment was The Chase Australia which was watched by 488,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven’s Home and Away which had 420,000 metro viewers.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 10 August, Seven News topped the list with 1.432 million Total TV viewers, including 37,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. The program with the highest uplift was a late viewing of Home and Away on Seven, with an uplift of 27%, viewed by a total of 798,000 national viewers, and 126,000 on BVOD.
Overall, Seven News topped programming with 846,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 836,000 metro viewers. Nine News was next with 586,000 metro viewers, then Nine News at 6:30 with 784,000 metro viewers. A Current Affair brought in 586,000 metro viewers, followed by ABC News which brought in 609,000. ABC’s 7:30 followed with 463,000 metro viewers.
As mentioned, Nine won the overall share for the evening with 27.9%, followed by Seven with 27%. Next was Ten with a 19.5% share, and ABC finished with 16.9% of the total share.
