RUSSH Media launches new beauty title

Independent publisher RUSSH Media has revealed its plans to launch an annual print title to serve the growing beauty and wellbeing community.

The move comes months after RUSSH Media announced former beauty journalist and content creator, Emily Algar, as its dedicated beauty editor.

RUSSH Beauty will showcase stories of creative expression and personal growth from a variety of Australian talents, including Ajak Deng, Duckie Thot, emerging actor William Lodder, and the latest Australian face to grace international runways, Mahlia Celeste.

The first cover will feature Dutch curve model Jill Kortleve, known for her work with Alexander McQueen and CHANEL.

Publisher of RUSSH Media and editor-in-chief of RUSSH Beauty, Jess Blanch said: “For 20 years, RUSSH has been a community for creative minds where beauty and wellbeing has been an important method for self-expression and fulfilment.

“We’ve always strived for a version of beauty that is recognisable to all and we are energised to lead that conversation for our community, beyond our regular digital platform, with a dedicated print flagship.”

Since it was founded in 2004, RUSSH Media has continued to expand its print publications, most recently with the March 2024 edition of RUSSH, which exceeded 300 pages. Following the success of RUSSH Home, edited by Tamsin Johnson, and now in its third year, RUSSH Beauty will also debut as their third title.

Johnson is renowned for her Rizzoli book, Spaces for Living, and her work on Raes Byron Bay. Additionally, RUSSH Media will celebrate the 20th Anniversary Edition of its original quarterly title, RUSSH, in November 2024, set to be the brand’s biggest issue yet.

RUSSH Beauty will arrive on newsstands on the 25 July.
