Saatchi & Saatchi adds new head of TV/content role

Publicis Groupe’s Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney has promoted Michael Demosthenous to the newly created role of executive producer – head of TV/content.

Demosthenous has been with the agency since January 2010, and has been promoted from his role as senior TV producer.

He has over 15 years of experience in advertising and television, having been promoted several times while at Saatchi & Saatchi. Demosthenous has worked on brands such as Toyota, St George, Bank SA, RAMS, Ampol, NRMA, Nescafe and Ancestry.

Saatchi & Saatchi Australia chief creative officer, Mike Spirkovski, commented: “Following his rise from star suit to senior producer, and as the indispensable backbone of the Saatchi Sydney TV department, Mikey is all class and one of the most level headed creative producers I know. His opinions always count as does his care for creativity. He always strives to make the work better.
