Really, the King Street place won an award? I really like Sabbaba in Bondi, the feeling there is nice, but the one on King Street I don’t think is as nice. Loud top 40 music, bright white fluorescent lights, uncomfortable chairs.. Their food is fantastic but the place lacks what the Dutch would call gezellig. It’s odd, because I know Otto are capable of awesome interiors, and I guess a judging panel considered Sabbaba Newtown to be one of them. I guess I’m in a minority.
That said I’ll still go there happily and often for their falafel!
