Sally Lewis leaves Liquid Ideas to join The Cru

Sydney boutique lifestyle PR agency The Cru has signed Sally Lewis from Liquid Ideas as a partner in the business.

Lewis teams up with Jeanine Bribosia, founder of The Cru, who worked at Liquid Ideas for four years before launching her own venture in 2010.

Lewis, who is the wife of Liquid Ideas boss Stuart Gregor, said: “Liquid Ideas is at an especially amazing part of its business life at the moment – Samantha Allen [Liquid Ideas MD, who joined in May] is brilliant and I leave my husband Stu behind with his blessing and encouragement. It’s a real win-win. The marriage might even last longer now we don’t spend every waking hour at desks that were always way too close together”.

Bribosia said: “Sally has huge experience both from a journalistic and PR perspective, with impeccable contacts. Working across high end luxury clients The Cru is establishing itself as a player within that sector. Sally really adds a lot to that with her experience at Vogue Magazine and Gourmet traveller.”

She added: “It signals a growth period. We’ve retained by Pernod Ricard Australia an Urban Purveyor Group and we’ve done work for a number of high end restaurants. Employee growth in the new year will be a focus. We already have quite a large client list for an agency our size.”

Lewis is the fourth member of The Cru team and will start on 12 November.

The agency was listed 9th fastest growing PR agency in Australia by the PR Report.
