Sally Regan appointed investment manager at Screen Australia

An Australian film-maker has been appointed investment manager for drama at Screen Australia.

Sally Regan, producer of Forbidden Lie$ comes to the role direct from Screen NSW where she was development and production executive, working across documentaries, features and television drama.

From 1999-2003 Regan was business affairs manager of documentary production at Film Australia, the fore-runner to Screen Australia along with the Film Finance Corporation Australia and the Australian Film Commission, before the four government agencies merged.

Regan will replace outgoing investment manager Sally Browning. The position begins on Monday 16 July.

Ross Matthews, Screen Australia’s head of production investment said: “I am extremely pleased that Sally Regan has agreed to join our Production Investment team. She brings a wealth of experience both in screen production and agency investment management. I have no doubt Sally will be a valuable addition to the team and will forge strong relationships with the industry.”

Regan also produced ABC documentaries Colour of War, Road to Tokyo, I Psychopath and The Lost Diggers of Fromelles for Seven.
