Salmat Digital appoints David Blakers to head up sales

Salmat Digital has appointed David Blakers, formerly Salmat’s head of interactive, to run the newly formed company’s sales operations.

The announcement:

Salmat Digital, a leading integrated digital communications provider, today announced the appointment of David Blakers as Executive General Manager of Sales and Service and a member of the Digital Leadership team.

David will be responsible for developing and strengthening key client relationships and helping brands embrace direct digital marketing to attract, retain and grow their customer-base.

David is one of Australia’s leading authorities on digital communication services, with eight years’ prior experience heading up Salmat’s Interactive business before the formation of Salmat Digital last year. David has over 15 years’ commercial experience within the media and telecommunications industry with previous roles including the CEO of Dialect Interactive, CFO of ServicePoint Limited and seven years working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers specialising in Media and Technology industries.
