Tank appoints client services director
Brand agency Tank has appointed Crystal James to client services director. James joins from R-Co Brand Communications.

Fast growing Australian brand agency TANK has appointed Crystal James to the newly created role of Client Services Director, based at its Melbourne headquarters starting immediately. James was successfully headhunted from rival agency, R-Co Brand Communications.
The highly awarded fifteen year old agency has recruited Crystal James into this new position as part of its ambitious business growth strategy, which is projected to double the size of the agency over the next two years.
As TANK’s Client Services Director, Crystal will be responsible for managing the delivery of exceptional brand and communication programs to TANK’S clients. Her strength is her ability to understand clients’ communication objectives at both a strategic and creative level, providing advice on the development of integrated brand, marketing and communication programs.
Jim Antonopoulos, Executive Creative Director at TANK said that Crystal’s appointment followed substantial agency growth over the last 12 months, which has seen TANK’s revenue increase by more 30 per cent.

A Business Development Director at R-Co in Melbourne until December 2011, Crystal James has more than 15 years’ experience in journalism, advertising and branding spanning a range of industry and government projects in Melbourne, Sydney, London and Eastern Europe. She has also held editing and client services roles at EMAP Magazines, DDB Melbourne and former London agency, Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters. She has worked across major global brands including Coca-Cola, Smirnoff, Vogue, Virgin Music and Warner Music.Jim Antonopoulos said: “Recruiting Crystal is a major boon for TANK.
