Samsung Australia shows how growing up with technology is ‘the new normal’

Samsung Australia has shown what life is like growing up as a child in today’s technology-driven society, depicting ‘the new normal’.

The one-minute ad begins with a father taking a photo of his newborn baby and ends with children using virtual reality headsets in a classroom.

Using a phone under water, using Face Time and facial recognition are all features displayed in the ad.

The spot ends with kids running with dinosaurs in a virtual world.

Promoting the Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung also created a 30-second version of the ad.

“One generation’s impossible is the next one’s normal,” is the tagline used in both ads.
