SBS hires Erica Green from Loud as marketing manager

SBS has appointed Erica Green from multicultural agency specialist Loud as marketing manager.

Green will look after multilingual/multicultural communications for SBS across all channels. She will be responsible for ensuring the day to day communications in over 60 languages across TV, radio and online.

Prior to her time at Loud, Green held an account management role at Loud and Ogilvy in ethnic communications.

Katherine Raskob, SBS group marketing manager said: “We’re delighted to have Erica join the SBS Marketing Communications team. SBS’s role is to provide multilingual and multicultural radio and television services that inform, educate and entertain all Australians and, in doing so, reflect Australia’s multicultural society. Our marketing aspirations reflect this, with a drive to deliver best-practice multicultural and multilingual communications in Australia. We are confident that Erica will add her experience and capabilities to assist us in taking this to the next level at SBS.”

The network has had a string of hires over the past month, with Tony Iffland as director of SBS TV and online content, former ACP head of brand and digital sales Andrew Cook becoming the network’s director of media sales, and the appointment of Joseph Maxwell as commissioning editor.
