SBS unveils Harvey Norman sponsorship results

SBS has showcased the results of Harvey Norman sponsoring its food programs.

SBS Sales has delivered an innovative advertising solution for Harvey Norman around SBS’s food programming with a promotion that has exceeded expectations.

The partnership involves Harvey Norman sponsoring SBS’s premium food programs including Food Safari Series 3, Luke Nguyen Series 1 and the top rating international series, Heston’s Feast.

SBS has delivered a true cross platform solution for Harvey Norman with top rating Australian series Food Safari encompassing television and online as well as email distribution to SBS’s food database and through SBS’s social media communities on Facebook and Twitter.

As part of its Food Safari sponsorship, Harvey Norman has partnered with SBS in a major promotion giving viewers the chance to win one of 12 Kenwood kitchen appliance packs valued at $2,000 each.

To deepen the association with Food Safari, Harvey Norman’s promotion is fronted by Food Safari host Maeve O’Meara. Food Safari cookbooks were also added to Harvey Norman’s prize pool to create a true 360 degree activation.

The promotion runs to November 4 and to date there have been over 47,000 entries with 80% being unique entries. The loyalty of the SBS Food audience and their engagement with Food Safari has contributed to the scale of the result.
