SCA shuffles TV sales team, with Nathan Soulsby promoted to head of Sydney and Kristen Budd moving to Central Coast office

Southern Cross Austereo has promoted Nathan Soulsby to head of TV sales for its Sydney operation.

Soulsby acted as a caretaker in the role while Kristen Budd was on maternity leave and now takes on the role on a permanent basis as Budd moves to SCA’s Central Coast office as general manager.

Soulsby: Promoted effective immediately

SCA said during Budd’s maternity leave, Soulsby – who was previously group sales manager – was a key contributor to the consistent share and revenue growth of the company.

SCA’s national head of television sales Will Allen said: “Nathan’s experience and passion for leadership will see him build upon Kristen’s great work, and lead the team to even greater heights.

“Nathan’s appointment highlights our ongoing focus on promoting passionate and driven SCA staff who can provide great insights, solutions and service for our customers, while leading a team who share the same mindset.”

Soulsby’s appointment takes effect immediately, while Budd commences her new role on April 30.

SCA broadcasts TV in the regional Queensland, Victoria and Southern NSW licence areas under the Nine Network branding. In Tasmania, Darwin and the Remote Central and Eastern Australia regions, SCA broadcasts the Seven Network channels.

Earlier this month, SCA and Nine announced SCA would take on Nine’s local television sales in the Northern NSW licence area.
