Seek launches eight-part TV series on Nine, ‘Dream Job’

Employment marketplace Seek is launching an eight-part ‘Dream Job’ content series which is set to air on Nine at 4:30pm on Saturdays.

‘Dream Job’ will feature psychologist Sabina Read who will find volunteers to step away from their current career to find their dream jobs.

In episode one, a sales manager named Andy becomes a nurse while a “wannabe” writer Abby suffers from a deadline meltdown.

The promo for the series shows Australians pursuing their dream jobs in becoming a florist, real estate agent, race car driver, chef and personal trainer.

The television series has been produced by WTFN Productions.

Jenn ten Seldam, Seek marketing director, said in a statement: “SEEK is passionate about helping all Australians find the right career to lead a fulfilling work life. Our intention with Dream Job is to give Australians confidence that no matter their age or profession, career change is achievable.”

Steve Oemcke, WTFN director of content, added: “Dream Job is the first TV show of its kind in Australia tackling career change. The opportunity to partner with Seek and show that career change is achievable for everyone is something we wanted to be involved with. We hope that through Dream Job it demystifies some of the journey in changing career paths by showing the brave, real and often heart-warming stories of everyday Australians.”
