Sefiani Communications Group has appointed Carrington Brigham to the newly-created role of head of digital and social media.
Brigham joins the agency after five months freelancing with Ogilvy PR. Prior to that he spend time freelancing for 303 MullenLowe and before that was he the lead digital strategist for Crosbyl Textor Group.
In his new role at Sefiani, Brigham will provide digital and social strategy solutions to clients of corporate, finance and issues management agency Sefiani and to clients of consumer and challenger brands agency Kite Communications.
Group managing director Robyn Sefiani said in a statement: “The establishment of a dedicated social and digital team in our agency is a significant step in an increasingly competitive market where the lines between PR, digital and advertising are blurring.
“The considerable expertise in digital and social media that Carrington brings to our agency, together with his entrepreneurial drive and excellent client relationship skills, will play an important role in helping us significantly enhance our offering to clients.
“Our digital and social team will open doors to exciting new work, enhance current client strategies and attract new clients, while also offer additional career pathways for our people in both Sefiani and Kite.”
Commenting on his appointment, Carrington said in a statement: “The opportunity to innovate and build Sefiani Communications Group’s digital and social capabilities was a prospect I couldn’t refuse. I’m excited to lead and develop new and existing social media and digital brand stories for clients of Sefiani and Kite.”
The agency has also promoted Christian Chelvan to account manager – digital and social media after a year in Sefiani’s corporate team and will work closely with Carrington.
