Seven dominates Monday as Nine’s MAFS wins entertainment

Nine’s Married at First Sight won entertainment on Monday, while the program also won all three key advertising demos.

The reality episode aired to a metro audience of 837,000, however it was Seven which celebrated an overall network share win.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 7 February, Monday’s episode of MAFS was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.979 million viewers, including 515,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 50%. This was also the program with the biggest uplift.

Next in entertainment was the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics night session (between 9-10pm) which pulled in a metro audience of 578,000.The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics evening session (between 7-9pm) had 575,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s The Chase Australia was next, which saw 567,000 metro viewers tune in. Ten’s Survivor aired to a metro audience of 496,000.

The #1 program on Monday was Seven News which aired to 1.012 million metro viewers, while Seven News at 6:30 had 981,000 metro viewers. Nine News at 6.30pm had 835,000, and Nine News brought in 822,000 metro viewers, 

As mentioned, Seven won the night, taking an overall network share of 35.2 over Nine’s 27.2%, while Ten had a 15.8% share, and the ABC had a 14.4% share.

Seven also won the primary channel share and the top-rating multi-channel on Monday was 7Mate with a share of 3.9%.
