Seven inches ahead of Nine in Monday ratings

Seven’s main channel had a rare Monday ratings victory over Nine, despite Two and a Half Men maintaining its lead as the most-watched show for the night.  

Nine led the 7:30pm and 8:30pm time slots with Two and a Half Men and The Mentalist respectively, according to preliminary overnight OzTam data in the five main metro markets.

The channel also led among 18-49 year olds with Two and a Half Men, followed by the Big Bang Theory.

However, among 16-39s, Seven’s My Kitchen Rules was in front, followed by the two leading Nine shows.

In overall free-to-air TV viewing Seven inched to the lead with 27.8 per cent, followed closely by Nine with 27.5 per cent, and Ten with 16.2 per cent.

Seven’s digital channel 7Two also led with a 3.6 per cent share, followed by Nine’s Go with 2.8 per cent and Ten’s One with o.8 per cent.
