Seven unveils new Dancing With The Stars lineup in new campaign

Seven Network has released its campaign for the 2023 season of Dancing With The Stars, unveiling the new lineup of celebrities taking part.

In its trailer, which premiered last night during the Farmer Wants A Wife finale, the contestants are shown conducting secret rehearsals in shadowy alleyways away from the public eye.

Seven West Media chief marketing and audience officer Melissa Hopkins said: “At Seven, we pride ourselves on creating some of the best content in the country and we firmly believe that our advertising should mirror that excellence.”

“This ad campaign is just the start of amazing new work you’ll see from Seven Creative. Keep an eye out for upcoming special collaborations with renowned agencies, promising to deliver even more exceptional content.”

This year’s lineup of celebrities are:

  • Charlie Albone – Better Homes and Gardens Landscaper
  • Christie Whelan Browne – Actor
  • Emily Weir – Home and Away Actor
  • Gavin Wanganeen – AFL legend
  • Issa Schultz – The Chase Australia Supernerd
  • James Magnussen – Olympic Medallist
  • Laura Byrne – Podcaster and radio host
  • Mary Coustas – Comedian and actor
  • Matt Preston – Presenter and food journalist
  • Paulini – Performer

The show will be hosted by Daryl Somers and Sonia Kruger, while the judges are Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess, Todd McKenney and Mark Wilson.

“We aimed to accomplish something in this campaign that we’ve never done before – capturing the intriguing secret ways celebrities have been rehearsing, hidden from friends, family and the public eye,” Seven Network creative director Graham Donald said.

“To highlight the bright, glamourous world of dancing, we chose a stark contrast as our starting point – imagining a moody, Gotham-esque cityscape and placing our stars within its shadowy alleyways, before they transform into dancers extraordinaire under the glittering spotlight.”
